Salty Beginnings

Welcome, Salty friend! We’re so glad you’re here. Grab some coffee, pull up a chair, and let’s get to know each other a bit!

Here at Salty Mug Media, we’re a bunch of coffee-loving homeschool moms and accidental advocates for Christlike virtue and common sense. Our sisterhood began around a dining room table in Fort Worth, Texas, where we read Rod Dreher’s Live Not By Lies and laughed away the tears and chaos of Covid lockdowns. We found comfort and stability in the Word of God and each other (and in sarcasm, if we’re honest. Which we are.). Our little book club became a catalyst of change in our own hearts and families as together we threw off fear and endeavored to walk out Christ’s command to be salt and light to our disoriented community- to preserve ways of virtuous living in the face of rising cultural insanity. We knew there had to be others out there feeling the same sense of bewilderment, so that, dear friend, is why we’re here: to link arms with you! We’re sharing our thoughts and hearts on this platform in hopes that we’ll see you, your family, and your entire community inspired, encouraged, and determined to live life boldly for Christ and speak the truth in love. So come on, y’all- we’re bringing salty back!
